Edgars Bondars: “I will put all my efforts to present the unique nature of Tajikistan”
Dushanbe, 20.10.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. “Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Latvia were established since 1994 and are developing now”, — it was stated during a meeting of the Chairman of the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Ahtam Abdullozoda and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Tashkent) Edgars Bondars.
During the meeting, both parties had an exchange of views on the ways of development and strengthening of relations in tourism and sports sectors.
Ahtam Abdullozoda has reminded the opportunities and rich tourism resources of Tajikistan that today have been highly assessed by prestigious organizations.
In turn, for the further intensifying and strengthening of bilateral ties in all sectors, including tourism, culture and sports, Edgars Bondars has expressed: “There is lots of amateurs and fans of eco-tourism and mountaineering in Latvia and I will put all my efforts to present the unique nature of Tajikistan”.
The ambassador has also noted that it is necessary to establish joint programs, because they are able to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
