Tajikistan and World Bank discuss issues to develop private sector
DUSHANBE, 02.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ilyosiddin Kamoliddinzoda, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan on Wednesday March 1 met with the World Bank Mission team led by Ms. Holly Benner.
According to the press centre of the ministry, during the meeting the two parties have discussed the goals and priorities of the National Development Strategy of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030, Medium-term Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016-2020, as well as the issues related to private sector support, poverty reduction and regional development.
“Following the meeting, both parties have expressed confidence that cooperation between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and the World Bank will continue to develop fruitfully”, — says the source.
