Tajikistan and the World Bank agreed to cooperate in the framework of transport investment projects
DUSHANBE, 19.09.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The issues of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the World Bank in the framework of transport investment projects were discussed on September 18 at the meeting of the First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamshed Karimzoda with the World Bank Senior Transport Economist Cardula Ratoga.
According to the secretariat of the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan, special attention was paid to the preparation and financing of the project “Construction of the Dushanbe-Karamik highway”, as well as fulfillment of bilateral obligations under the existing agreements.
First Deputy Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Jamshed Karimzoda thanked Cardula Ratoga for a meaningful and constructive conversation, and also expressed his commitment to strengthen cooperation with the World Bank.
The meeting was also attended by Senior Program Specialist Yulia Komagayeva, Transport Specialist Aidai Bayalieva and Trade and Aviation Specialist Daniel Saslavsky.
