DUSHANBE, 12.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The national futsal team of Tajikistan as part of preparing for the Asian Championship-2018 qualifying tournament held a friendly match against the United Arab Emirates on September 11 in Dubai.

According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, the match was held in the sports complex “Al-Shaab” in Sharjah and ended in a strong-willed victory of the Tajik futsal players — 4:2.

It was planned that the futsal teams of the United Arab Emirates and Tajikistan on Tuesday, September 12, will hold a second friendly match in Sharjah, but due to the participation of the UAE team in the Asian Indoor Games in Ashgabat, the second game was canceled.

We will recall that in the Asian Futsal Championship-2018 qualification round, which will be held in the Iranian city of Tabriz, the Tajik national team will play against Afghanistan (October 16) and Iran (October 17). From our group the two teams with best results will advance to the final part of the continental championship, which will be held on February 6 – 18, 2018, in Chinese Taipei.
