DUSHANBE, 21.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The junior team of Tajikistan (U-16) in its starting match in the qualifying tournament of the Asian Championship-2018 in the group “B”, which is being held in Hissar, defeated the team of Syria with a score of 2:0.

According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, in another match of this group Oman’s juniors defeated their peers from the Maldives — 8:0.

In the second round, which will be played on Friday, September 22, Tajik juniors will play with the group’s outsider — the team of the Maldives. This match will take place at the Hissar Central Stadium and will start at 19:00 clock. Another match will be played between the teams of Syria and Oman and will start at 16:00 clock.

We will recall that the winners of 10 groups and 5 teams, ranked second in their groups with the best results, will advance to the final part of the Asian Championships to be held September 20 to October 7 next year in Malaysia.
