DUSHANBE, 14.02.2018 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The vice-champion of Tajikistan — football club “Khujand” lost to Turkmen “Ahal” in the first play-offs match of the 2018 AFC Cup. The match took place on February 13 at the stadium “Sports Toplumy” in Balkanabad and ended with a score of 1:0.

According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, Murat Annaev of “Ahal” scored the only goal of the match in the 18th minute by penalty kick.

Now the outcome of this confrontation will be decided in the return leg to be held next Tuesday, February 20, at the stadium of the 20th anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan in Khujand at 14:00 local time.
