Junior football team of Tajikistan won the first victory at the gathering in Japan
DUSHANBE, 25.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The junior football team of Tajikistan (U-16) held its first test match at the training camp in Japan.
According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, on June 24, Tajik juniors held a sparring match against their peers from Ibaraki team at a training field in Kasime and won with a score of 2:1. The goals of national team were scored by Sunatullo Ismoilov (6th minute) and Umedjon Kholiqov (20th minute).
On June 26, Zainiddin Rahimov’s wards will play a control game with their peers from Kasime Antlers, as well as on June 28 with the youth team of Urawa Reds.
We will recall that the training camp in Japan is aimed at preparing the junior team of the country for the final part of the 2018 Asian Championship to be held from September 20 to October 7 in Malaysia. At the Asian Championship, junior team of Tajikistan will play in Group A against the teams of Malaysia, Japan and Thailand.
