DUSHANBE, 06.07.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The junior football team of Tajikistan (U-16) in the starting round of CAFA championship in Tashkent played draw (2:2) with the team of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, this match took place on July 5 in the Tashkent National Stadium. The goals of Tajik team were scored by Zuhriddin Fuzailov and Alinur Niyozbekov.

In another match, the hosts — the junior team of Uzbekistan won a major victory over last year’s winner of tournament — the team of Afghanistan with the score of 4:1.

The matches of the second round will be played on Saturday, July 7. On this day, Tajik juniors will meet with the national team of Afghanistan at 20:00, as well as Uzbek juniors with their Kyrgyz peers at 17:00.
