Hissor city of Tajikistan hosts 2019 Asian Championship qualifying tournament among girls (U-16)
DUSHANBE, 13.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On Saturday, September 15, at the Hissor Central Stadium starts the first round of the qualifying tournament of the 2019 Asian Championship among girls (U-16) in Group C, the Football Federation of Tajikistan reported.
According to the source, for the berth to the next round of the tournament will compete 5 women’s junior teams — Tajikistan, Thailand, Iran, Singapore and the Northern Mariana Islands. The competitions will be held on September 15-23 in Hissor.
It is reportedly said that 8 teams of the first qualifying stage — winners of six groups and two best teams ranked second place will advance to the second round of the qualifying stage of the 2019 Asian Championship among girls (U-16) to be held from February 23 to March 3.
The three best teams of the last Asian Championship — the DPRK, South Korea and Japan – get direct berths to the Asian Championship to be held next year in Thailand.
