Tajikistan women’s national football team will take part at the Tashkent CAFA Championship
DUSHANBE, 20.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The women’s national football team of Tajikistan led by head coach Sulaymon Bobokalonov will take part at the Tashkent CAFA Women’s Championship 2018.
According to the press service of Tajikistan Football Federation, 5 women national teams will take part in the tournament to be held from November 23 to December 1 in Tashkent under the auspices of the Central Asian Football Association. In addition to the national team of Tajikistan, the teams of Iran, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan will compete for medals.
According to the tournament regulation, the CAFA Women’s Championship 2018 will be held in a one-round circle. The winner will be determined by the highest score.
Earlier this year, the Central Asian Football Association Championships among junior teams (U-15 and U-16) were held in Tashkent, in which teams of Tajikistan won bronze medals.
