Tajik U-16 Football Team Wins Silver at the Development Cup 2020
DUSHANBE, 27.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Tajik youth football team (U-16) in the final of the international tournament Development Cup 2020 in Minsk lost to Belarus (U-17) by the penalty shoot-out.
The match ended with a score of 2-2, but in the penalty shoot-out luck was on their opponent’s side, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
The goals for the Tajik team in the main time were scored by Abdulfattoh Khudoidodzoda and Sunatullo Azizov.
A forward of the Tajik team Azizov, who had scored three goals in four matches, was named as the best forward of the tournament.
