President Emomali Rahmon Holds Telephone Conversation with the Chairmen of a Number of Cities and Districts

DUSHANBE, 26.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the chairmen of Tursunzoda, Hisor, Rasht, Lakhsh and Nurobod.
The discussions focused on the socioeconomic situation in the region, in particular harvesting of crops, vegetables and fruits, as well as planting potatoes.
The discussions also covered measures being taken to deal with the preparations of the regions socio-economic sector for the autumn-winter period of 2020-2021.
President Rahmon gave specific instructions to the officials on agricultural development, in particular increasing the harvesting plan, export of agricultural products and supplying the domestic market with quality and organic local products.
