DUSHANBE, 02.12.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Chairman of Khatlon Kurbon Hakimzoda met with Ukrainian Ambassador to Tajikistan Vasily Servatyuk.
Hakimzoda noted that Khatlon is an agricultural region that plays an important role in the production of fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, and cotton. The region also plays a leading role in the construction of hydroelectric power plants and the production of clean electricity.
He invited the friendly Ukrainian people to visit the historical and picturesque places of the region, including the waterfalls Sarihosor, Childukhtaron, Chiluchorchashma, Khoja Mashhad, Takhti Sangin, amd Tigrovaya Balka.
Hakimzoda expressed satisfaction with Ukraine’s support in the construction of important facilities and wished further expansion of cooperation in all areas.
The Ukrainian Ambassador expressed his hope and confidence in the development of the energy sector in Tajikistan, and expansion of cooperation in all areas.
