New Commemorative Coins Made of Precious Metals Will Be Issued to Mark Independence Day

DUSHANBE, 09.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – In honor of 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence and the 20th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) plans to issue commemorative coins from precious metals.
The government of Tajikistan already approved the symbols.
NBT regularly issues commemorative coins made of precious metals in honor of historical dates, artists and statesmen, as well as in honor of important public and state events.
Among them are coins in honor of the 10th and 20th anniversary of the Constitution Day, in honor of the Aryan civilization, 2700th anniversary of Kulob, 800th anniversary of Jaloliddin Rumi, 5500th anniversary of Sarazm, Hissor’s 3000th anniversary, in honor of Sochi Olympic Games, Dushanbe’s 90th anniversary, and the start of construction of the Rogun hydroelectric power plant.
