Central Asia’s First TajRupt Artificial Intelligence Laboratory Launches in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 10.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 8, the first in Central Asia TajRupt artificial intelligence laboratory launched in Dushanbe in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Assistant to the President for Economic Affairs, Chairman of the National Bank, representative of Representatives Assembly, heads of scientific and educational institutions of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies and other guests.
The main goal of the creation of this laboratory, the founder and head of which is Azizjon Azimi, is to empower the country’s youth in the field of artificial intelligence.
The TajRupt curriculum is designed as an extracurricular activity and lasts 10 weeks, consisting of 75 minutes of interactive lessons three times a week.
TajRupt students explore a range of concepts through a 10-week course, including: government policy, philosophy, markets, media, technology, globalization and international relations, and gender equality.
The curriculum is divided into three levels, which differ in the complexity of specific topics.
An English was introduced as the primary language of communication in the classroom in order to stimulate student interest in the curriculum.
