DUSHANBE, 08.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The CAFA U-17 Women Championship 2021 ended in Dushanbe.

According to the tournament results, the women team of Tajikistan took third place.

In the final round, the women team of the country lost to Iran with a score of 0-3, and the Uzbek team won a major victory over the Afghan team with the score of 8-0.

Thus, following the results of three rounds, Uzbekistan with 7 points won the championship. Silver medals went to Iran (6 points) and Tajikistan with 4 points finished on the third line of the standings.

The CAFA General Secretary Ulugbek Karimov, Vice President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Dilshod Jurazoda and General Secretary of the FFT Davlatmand Islomov took part in the awarding ceremony for the winners and prize-winners.

As a result, the Fair play prize was received by Tajikistan, a special prize was awarded to Afghanistan. The best scorer was Leyla Rustullaeva (Uzbekistan), who has 6 goals. The prize of the most useful player was received by the player of the Iran Zolfi Mohaddeseh.
