WHO Experts Prepare to Exchange Experience with Tajik Specialists
DUSHANBE, 29.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Ghafur Muhsinzoda met with experts of the Technical Mission of the WTO Office in Europe Robert Pastor, Jose Hagan and Rustam Nabiev.
The meeting was also attended by Deputies Shodikhon Jamshed, Zulfiya Abdusamatzoda, Abdukholik Amirzoda, and head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office for Tajikistan Victor Olsavszky.
Muhsinzoda noted the cooperation of the ministry with the WHO Office in Europe and expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation.
The visit of experts of the Technical Mission of the WTO Office to Tajikistan is aimed to provide technical assistance to the Health Ministry to assess the coverage of the immunization schedule, assess the quality of data in the field of immunoprophylaxis and exchange experiences with Tajik specialists.
In order to ensure sanitary and epidemiological security, improve the quality of immunoprophylaxis in Dushanbe, GBAO, Khatlon, Sughd, and districts of republican subordination, they will assess the quality of coverage of target groups with normal immunization in Tajikistan from September 15 through September 30.
