President Emomali Rahmon’s Working Trip to Khovaling District

DUSHANBE, 03.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Khovaling, Khatlon in order to get acquainted with the living conditions of the population and attend the opening ceremonies for various socio-economic facilities.
Upon arrival in Khovaling, President Rahmon honored the memory of Hazrat Sulton Uvais Karani and prayed for stability of the beloved Motherland and the happiness of the glorious people of Tajikistan.
The tomb of Sulton Uvays is located in a picturesque site in Khovaling and is visited daily by 400-500 domestic and foreign tourists.
In addition, President Rahmon took part in the opening ceremony of a secondary education institution that will conduct classes in Tajik, Russian and English.
This was followed by an opening ceremony of a new honey processing plant, and the opening ceremony for a new administrative building of Gaffor Mirzo community.
The plant is focused on processing and packaging environmentally friendly honey and its export abroad. The company’s production capacity is 6 tonnes of natural honey per day and 180 tonnes per month.
After attending the opening of the Chilchanor National Teahouse, which was built within the framework of the 2019-2021as the Period of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts, President Rahmon inspected the apple harvesting campaign in the Parviz T farm.
In addition, President Rahmon attended the opening ceremony of the Obi Khovaling Poultry farm, which houses nearly 5,000 chickens, with plans to increase their number.
Concluding his trip, President Rahmon opened an amphitheater with 2,000 seats in the village of Lohuti of Khovaling, and held a meeting with local representatives.
