FM Muhriddin Holds Online Meeting with Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific

DUSHANBE, 11.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin held an online meeting with the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Armida Salsia.
The parties exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development and implementation of effective projects on development of regional trade, energy, transport and the protection of glaciers.
The meeting also focused on the details of participation in the 78th online session of UNESCAP (May 23-27, 2022, Bangkok) and the 2nd Dushanbe International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development,» 2018-2028.
The Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028» on the theme «Promoting action and partnerships in the field of water resources at the local, national, regional and global levels» will be held from June 6 through June 9, 2022 in Dushanbe.
