Tajik Boxers Zulkainarova and Boltaev Reach the Second Round of the Asian Boxing Championship

DUSHANBE, 04.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On the third day of the Asian Boxing Championship in Amman, Tajikistan was represented by three athletes, including Mijgona Samadov, Shoira Zulkainarova, and Abdumalik Boltaev.
Samadova in the weight category up to 57 kg in the first round lost to the athlete from Chinese Taipei Yu Ting Lin with a score of 5:0, consequently losing the opportunity to continue the tournament.
Zulkainarova in the weight category up to 60 kg defeated Japan’s representative Rinka Tanaka with a score of 5:0 and made it to the second round.
Boltaev in weight category up to 75 kg made it to the second round without a fight, since Abdumalik’s opponent, Ahmad Gosson from Syria, did not appear.
The championship will last until November 12.
