Three Tajik Athletes Will Attend 2022 Judo Grand Slam Tokyo

DUSHANBE, 01.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The list of participants in the 2022 Judo Grand Slam Tokyo, which will be held from December 3 through December 4, includes the names of three Tajik judokas.
Tajik team included Nurali Emomali (up to 66 kg), Muhammadrahim Sarakhonov (up to 73 kg) and Somon Mahmadbekov (up to 81 kg).
According to the International Judo Federation, teams from 66 countries (194 men and 125 women) will take part in the tournament, which will compete for medals and rating points on the way to the Paris Olympics in 2024.
The prize fund of the tournament is € 154,000,000. The winners of all weight categories will receive € 5,000 each (of which € 1,000 will be given to the coach), silver medal winners will receive € 3,000 each (the coach will receive € 600), bronze medalists will receive € 1,500 (the coach will receive € 300).
