Tourism Opportunities of Tajikistan Presented at the Sixth Istanbul Economic Summit

DUSHANBE, 12.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – From December 8 through December 9, with the assistance of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Turkiye, Tajik delegation, consisting of representatives of relevant ministries and departments, attended sixth Istanbul Economic Summit.
The international was organized under the name Global Value Chains. It focused on the topics “Social change,” “Opportunities for entrepreneurs in the supply chain,” “Creating value in tourism from local to global,” “Digital and green transformation in industrial regions,” “The role of e-cars in the energy sector and its transformation”, as well as “Innovation in healthcare for sustainable development.”
At the panel “Forming value in tourism from local to global level”, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Kamoliddin Muminzod informed about tourism resources and the possibility of cooperation in this direction.
Tourism is a promising industry that brings the whole world together, unites different nations, promotes peaceful cooperation, exchange of experience and mutual benefit.
Tajikistan and Turkiye are states with a long cultural history on the Silk Road, and the cultural relations of the two countries have a long historical connection.
Since 2019, the Joint Commission on Tourism of Tajikistan and Turkiye has been established, and until today, meetings of the commission have been held in Dushanbe and Istanbul.
