Tajik U-20 Football Team Arrives in Turkiye for a Training Camp

DUSHANBE, 20.01.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part preparations for the 2023 Asian Cup, Tajik U-20 football team arrived in Turkey for a training camp.
The team’s head coach Belarusian specialist Oleg Kubarev invited 26 players for the camp, including 3 goalkeepers, 9 defenders, 9 midfielders and 5 forwards.
The team is scheduled to hold seven control matches. Information about its rivals will be published later.
The 2023 Asian U-20 Cup will be held from March 1 through March 18 in Uzbekistan. Tajik team will play in Group C against Jordan (March 2), Oman (March 5) and South Korea (March 8).
Following the results of the tournament, the four best teams will advance to the 2023 World Cup in Indonesia.
