Somon Air Resumes Flights to Urumqi

DUSHANBE, 09.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Since February 8, Somon Air has resumed flights on Dushanbe — Urumqi route.
The flight will be operated once a week on Wednesdays on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft. Departure time from Dushanbe is at 12:00, from Urumqi — at 19:00 local time. The flight time is two and a half hours. Starting from the first half of March, the airline plans to operate flights to Urumqi twice a week.
In addition, the airline has increased the frequency of flights from Dushanbe to Russian Novosibirsk.
From February 5, flights on Dushanbe — Novosibirsk route are carried out twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. On Wednesdays, the departure time from Dushanbe is at 18:00, from Novosibirsk — at 00:50 (on Thursday night), on Sundays, the departure time from Dushanbe airport is at 12:00, as well as back — at 18:30 local time. The flight time is 3 hours. Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
Somon Air has been successfully operating in the international market since 2008. It is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The company has available Boeing 737-800 and 737-900 aircrafts.
Somon Air is focused on expanding the route network of air transportation and air fleet. It currently operates regular flights from Tajikistan to Germany, the UAE, Turkiye, India, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
