A New Cooperation Strategy between Tajikistan and the Islamic Development Bank Group Discussed in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 29.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 26, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda met with the delegation of the Islamic Development Bank led by the Regional Director for Central Asia Ibrahim Shukri.
The meeting focused on a new Cooperation Strategy between Tajikistan and the IDB Group.
The strategy is aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and implementing the country’s priority projects for the next 3 years.
It was emphasized that within the framework of the new Cooperation Strategy, priority should be given to energy, industry, transport, digitalization and the private sector.
The parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
