Tajikistan and Qatar Cooperate in Fish Farming, Organization of Greenhouses, Construction of Warehouses and Refrigeration Facilities

DUSHANBE, 12.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the state visit of the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Tajikistan, a Memorandum was signed between the Government of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Qatar on Agriculture and Food Security.
The document expands cooperation between the two states in the field of agriculture and food security in the direction of the exchange of professional skills of scientists and specialists, the use of modern technologies in agriculture, technical and scientific cooperation in the field of fish farming and activities related to this area, cooperation in the creation of greenhouses, the creation warehouses and refrigeration facilities for the storage of agricultural products.
During the state visit of the Emir of the State of Qatar to Tajikistan, a total of 15 new documents on cooperation in various fields were signed, which will play an important role in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
