Tajikistan and Korea Discuss Inter-parliamentary Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 21.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yetserday, the Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Kim Jin-pyo in Seoul.
It was noted that the meeting will give impetus to the development of inter-parliamentary relations between the two states.
Activation of inter-parliamentary cooperation groups, as well as connections between relevant committees, contributes to the strengthening of inter-parliamentary dialogue and the development of relations between Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea within the framework of a long-term partnership.
It should be noted that the parliamentary delegation of Tajikistan led by Zokirzoda from September 18 through September 20 took part in the first conference of Speakers of the Parliaments of the Central Asia — Republic of Korea, which was held in Seoul.
