CAFA Recognized as the Best Regional Federation of the Year in Asia
DUSHANBE, 03.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Central Asian Football Association (CAFA), led by Rustam Emomali, was recognized as the best regional association of the year at the annual gala ceremony of the Asian Football Confederation, which was held on October 31 in the Qatari capital Doha.
CAFA was founded in 2015 and is the youngest regional association of the Asian Football Confederation and has quickly gained recognition.
It should be noted that CAFA includes the Football Federations of six countries, including Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
CAFA’s headquarters have been located in Dushanbe since 2019.
