Foreign Trade Turnover between Tajikistan and China Increases by 10%

DUSHANBE, 16.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Over the 9 months of 2023, the foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan and China increased by 10%, and over the past 5 years this figure has almost doubled. This was said on November 15 in Chinese Xi’an during a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Farhod Vosidiyon and the Governor of Shaanxi Province Zhao Gang.
It was noted that China is in 2nd place in the structure of foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan.
The parties also discussed promising areas of cooperation, including the creation of joint industrial enterprises for the extraction of minerals and processing of metals to final products, and the supply of agricultural products from Tajikistan to the Chinese market.
