Tajik Judokas Win 8 Medals at the Asian Junior and Youth Judo Championships

DUSHANBE, 20.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik athletes won 8 medals at the Asian Junior and Youth Judo Championships.
The tournament was held from November 16 through November 19 in Tashkent of Uzbekistan.
It was attended by 357 athletes, including 182 among juniors and 175 among youth. Tajikistan was represented among juniors by 11 people, including 1 girl, as well as among young by 12 athletes, including 3 girls. Tajik judokas won 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Gold medals were won among juniors by Loik Kutbiddinov (-55 kg), Yosin Bobokalonov (-66 kg) and Muhiddin Asadulloev (-73 kg).
Among the youth, Ahlia Muminova (-52 kg), and Abubakr Sherov (-73 kg) received silver medals, as well as Sunnatullo Musoev (-73 kg), Muhammadjon Abdujalilzoda (-81 kg) and Umedjon Radzhabov (-90 kg) got bronze medals.
