Tajik and Russian Ministries of Agriculture Sign a Road Map to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 20.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – A “road map” was signed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture between the Ministries of Agriculture of Tajikistan and Russia for 2024-2026.
This document was adopted during a meeting between the Ministers of Agriculture Kurbon Hakimzoda and Dmitry Patrushev in Moscow.
The ministers also discussed bilateral issues of cooperation in the field of agriculture, as well as expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation on the import of sunflower seeds, sugar beets to Tajikistan and the export of trout to Russia.
Also, the parties came to an agreement on the issue of retraining and advanced training of agricultural workers on the basis of agricultural universities of the two countries.
