Tajik Football Team Reaches the 1/8 Finals at the 2023 Asian Cup

DUSHANBE, 23.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the national football team of Tajikistan defeated the Lebanon in the third round of the group stage of the 2023 Asian Cup in Doha and reached the 1/8 finals.
The match took place at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha and ended with a score of 2-1.
Thus, from Group A Qatar from the first place and Tajikistan from the second place advanced to the 1/8 finals.
It should be noted that two teams from each group, as well as the four best teams from among the third-place finishers, will reach the 1/8 finals.
