Tajikistan Improves the Transparency of the Process of Issuing Relevant Documents for Road Transport

DUSHANBE, 19.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Information and communication technologies are currently the main tools with which modernization in the transport sector is carried out. It was stated on July 17 at the meeting of the Minister of Transport Azim Ibrohim and the U.S. Ambassador to Tajikistan Manuel Micaller.
It was noted that the two countries have established mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of programs of the US Agency for International Development and other international organizations.
“It was developed an electronic system that increases the transparency and efficiency of the process of issuing relevant documents for road transport. The system will automate business processes, improve the speed of decision-making, as well as access to information for carriers,” explained Ibrohim.
