Tajikistan Increases Coal Production by Almost 200,000 Tons

DUSHANBE, 02.08.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Coal production in Tajikistan increased by 195,500 tons compared to the same period in 2023. It was stated at a press conference of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
12 enterprises at 9 mines mined 946,600 tons of coal this year.
According to these statistics, state-owned enterprises mined more than 369,000 tons of coal, while private enterprises mined more than 577,000 tons.
The remaining coal as of July 1 in the warehouses of industry enterprises, taking into account the coal balances of previous years, is more than 566,500 tons.
