Saudi Investment in Tajikistan’s Energy Sector Explored in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 22.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Bilateral cooperation in the energy and water sectors was a key topic of discussion during a meeting in Dushanbe between Manuchehr Safarzoda, Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, and Hassan Al-Huwaizi, Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers.
The meeting focused on attracting Saudi investments into Tajikistan’s energy sector and the potential for joint project implementation.
The two sides also explored avenues for expanding future cooperation.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Tajikistan–Saudi Arabia Business and Investment Forum, which aims to strengthen economic ties and enhance collaborative opportunities between the two nations.
Both parties shared perspectives on advancing bilateral relations in energy and water resource management, emphasizing mutual interests and common development objectives.
