First Women’s Boxing Tournament to be held in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 05.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The First Women’s Boxing Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 15, in the capital complex «Navruzgoh”. This tournament will take place within the framework of the project of Federation of Professional Boxing of Tajikistan “Concept of development of women’s professional Boxing in Tajikistan» — “Hamsafi mardoni purquvvat” (“Along with the strong men”).
According to the Federation of Professional Boxing of Tajikistan, the event is devoted to the Year of Youth declared by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and is aimed against violence, drug abuse and gender inequality.
