Tajik judoka became the winner of Tunis African Cup Cadets 2017!
DUSHANBE, 25.04.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Tajik judoka Somon Mahmadbekov became the winner of Tunis African Cup Cadets 2017 among juniors in Tunisia. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the coach of judoka Ergash Mahmadbekov.
According to him, Somon Mahmadbekov, a representative of the Irkutsk club “MORI”, won a confident victory and won the gold medal. Currently judoka resides in Irkutsk of the Russian Federation and is a multiple winner of all-Russian and regional competitions on judo among juniors.
Other Tajik judokas – Abdullo Nematov (66 kg) and Yosin Nematov (73 kg) have also attended Tunis African Cup Cadets 2017.
Earlier Somon Mahmadbekov as a member of the Tajikistan national team participated in the European Judo Cup among juniors in St. Petersburg, where he became the fifth, losing in a duel for the “bronze” to Russian.
