Federer through to second round as Dolgopolov retires
DUSHANBE, 05.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Seven-time champion Roger Federer reached the second round at Wimbledon here on Tuesday after Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine retired due to injury after three games into the second set.
The seven-time champion Federer was leading 6-3, 3-0 when Dolgopolov decided to withdraw. The Swiss then notched up a record 85th win at Wimbledon.
The 18 Grand Slam winner will next face Dusan Lajovic of Serbia in the second round.
