AFC Cup-2017: “Istiqlol” to play with Philippine “Ceres”
DUSHANBE, 10.08.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Champion of Tajikistan “Istiqlol” will play with Philippine “Ceres” in the AFC Cup -2017 interzonal semifinal.
According to the Football Federation of Tajikistan, the first interzonal semi-final match of the AFC Cup-2017 between “Istiqlol” and “Ceres” will take place on August 22 at the Hissar Central Stadium and will start at 19:00. The return match will be held on September 12 in the Philippine city of Bacolod.
“In case of advancing to the next round of the AFC Cup, the champion of Tajikistan will play in the interzonal final with the winner of the pair “Bengaluru” (India) – “25 April” (DPRK). Interzonal finals will be played on September 27 and October 18.
The final match of the AFC Cup-2017 will be played on November 4. In case if “Istiqlol” advances to the final, then the decisive match of the second most important club tournament of Asia will take place in Tajikistan.
