DUSHANBE, 11.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The national futsal team of Tajikistan, which will take part in the Asian Championship-2018 qualifier in October, flew to Dubai on September 9, where will hold two friendly matches against the UAE team. These matches will be held on September 11 and 12.

According to the Football Federation of Tajikistan, for the upcoming matches the head coach of the futsal team took with him 14 players — 2 goalkeepers and 12 field players.

Earlier this year, Tajik futsal players as part of preparing for the Asian Championship-2018 qualification round held friendly matches against Turkey (4:5 and 2:3) and Uzbekistan (4:5 and 5:3).

We will recall that in the Asian Futsal Championship-2018 qualification round, which will be held in the Iranian city of Tabriz, the Tajik national team will play against Afghanistan (October 16) and Iran (October 17). From our group the two teams with best results will advance to the final part of the continental championship, which will be held on February 6 – 18, 2018 in Chinese Taipei.
