More than 120 Tajik athletes to take part in the 2017 Ashgabat Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games
DUSHANBE, 16.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. More than 120 Tajik athletes will take part in the Fifth Ashgabat Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. Asian Games’ opening ceremony will be held tomorrow in the capital city of Turkmenistan — Ashgabat. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that the sports delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan includes 173 people, including 126 athletes who will take part in 15 kinds of sport. The Fifth Ashgabat Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which will last until September 27, will be attended by about 6,000 athletes from more than 60 countries of Asia and the Pacific.
The Asian Games program consists of 21 kinds of sport, including such as basketball, wrestling on belts, billiards, bowling, chess, tennis, sambo, swimming, etc.
2017 Ashgabat Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games will be held under the motto “Health, Inspiration and Friendship”.
