2018 Asian Futsal Championship: Tajikistan defeated South Korea
DUSHANBE, 06.02.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The national futsal team of Tajikistan completed the 2018 Asian Futsal Championship in Chinese Taipei on a winning note, defeating the South Korean with a score 7-0 in the final round of the group stage in the group B. The goals of Tajik team were scored by Shavkat Halimov, Bahodur Khojaev, Dilshod Salomov, Rahmonali Sharipov, Rustam Homidov, Iqbol Vositzoda and Umed Quziev. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
According to the source, in another match of this group, the team of Japan beat Uzbekistan with the score 4:2 and took first place. Uzbekistan with six points ranked second position of the group. The national futsal team of Tajikistan, having collected 3 points, placed on the third place. The group was closed by the South Korean team, which suffered a defeat in all three matches played.
Besides Japan and Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Bahrain (from group A) also advanced to the 1/4 finals. Another 4 participants of the 1/4 finals will be determined today, February 6 following the matches of groups C and D.
