Hakim Fuzaylov: “We are ready for tomorrow’s match”
DUSHANBE, 26.03.2018 / NIAT “Khovar”/. The head coach of the national team of Tajikistan Hakim Fuzaylov on the eve of the decisive match of the 2019 Asian Cup qualifying round against the team of the Philippines shared his expectations from tomorrow’s match, which will be held at the Memorial Stadium named after Jose Risal in Manila at 16:30 Dushanbe time. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
“We have enough information about the national team of the Philippines. Speaking about the opponent, we already played in Dushanbe, unfortunately, and then we lost with the score 3:4. The national team of Philippines is progressing well enough, and I have great respect for the head coach Thomas Dooley, and for the team as a whole.
We knew that we only need a victory to reach the Asian Cup final part. The task for us has not been removed. Some guys had micro-trauma, now everyone is healthy, everything is in order and ready for tomorrow’s match”, — said H. Fuzaylov.
”Is there any pressure on the team after the first match with the Philippines in Dushanbe? There is absolutely no pressure. So much time has passed since that match and so many games we spent. After the June meeting, we scored a little more points than our opponents for three games. We know the strength of Philippines, we perfectly understand what we are facing and should only play to win. The game will be very difficult”, — summed up the head coach of the national team of Tajikistan.
