Muhsin Muhammadiev resigned from the post of FC “Istiqlol” head coach
DUSHANBE, 23.05.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Muhsin Muhammadiev on May 22 resigned from his post as head coach of Dushanbe’s FC “Istiqlol” at his own request. It was reported by the official website of the capital’s club.
He announced his decision before the evening training. The management of the club satisfied Muhammadiev’s request and relieved him from performing duties in the coaching staff. Alisher Tukhtayev, who has been appointed acting head coach of “Istiqlol”, will prepare capital’s club for the remaining matches of the current football season.
FC “Istiqlol” on its official website thanked Muhsin Muhammadiev for teamwork and wished him further success in the coaching field.
We will recall that Muhsin Muhammadiev was appointed as head coach of Dushanbe’s club at the end of 2016, having won Tajikistan Championship-2017, country’s Super Cup-2018, twice the Cup of the Football Federation of Tajikistan (2017 and 2018), and brought “Istiqlol” to the AFC Cup-2017 final.
