Tajik athletes take part in the Asian Karate — Kyokushinkai Championship
DUSHANBE, 14.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Asian Karate — Kyokushinkai Championship will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on June 13 – 17, 2018.
According to the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, yesterday, the national team of Tajikistan led by Askarjon Karomatov left for Kazakhstan to take part in the Asian Championship.
It is reportedly said that in this tournament, the Republic of Tajikistan will be represented by 9 athletes. The delegation consists of Ali ibn Muhammad, Umedjoni Tojiddin, Ayubjon Amonov, Roland Glokler, Farangis Hojizoda, Hussein Sayfiddinzoda, Bilol Niyozov, Firuz Karomatov and Sirojiddin Karomatov. They will fight in the weight categories of 35 kg, 40 kg, 45 kg, 55 kg, 65 kg, and 70 kg.
