DUSHANBE, 29.06.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Under the auspices of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA), on July 5 – 9 in Tashkent will be held football championship with the participation of junior teams (U-16) of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan, the press service of the Football Federation of Tajikistan reports.

According to the source, the junior team of the country will be composed of pupils of the Football Academy of the Football Federation of Tajikistan. The junior team of Tajikistan will be headed by the coach of the above mentioned academy Hikmat Fuzailov.

Tajik juniors will play first match on Thursday, July 5, against their peers from Kyrgyzstan, second match on July 7 against Afghan juniors, and next match on July 9 against juniors of Uzbekistan.

The CAFA tournament in Tashkent will be held on a circular system in one round. The winner will be determined by the highest number of scored points. All games will be held at the Tashkent National Stadium.

The junior team of Tajikistan will leave for Tashkent on Tuesday, July 3.

The matches of this championship will be served by teams of referees from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan will be represented by FIFA referee Sayodjon Zainiddinov (Dushanbe), FIFA assistant referees — Vafo Karaev (Shahrinav) and Hassan Karimov (Norak). The Secretary General of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Davlatmand Islomov appointed as one of tournament commissars, and the head of the judiciary of Tajikistan Abdurahim Boboev will inspect referees.
