DUSHANBE, 04.10.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The women’s youth football team of Tajikistan (U-19), as part of preparing for the 2019 Asian Championship qualifying tournament, held two control matches with Kyrgyzstan. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press service of Tajikistan Football Federation.

Sparring matches were held on October 1 and 3 in Osh. In the first match, Tajik girls lost to their peers from Kyrgyzstan (1:2), and in the second match, they played a draw (0:0).

These matches became a stage of preparation for Tajikistan women’s team for the first round of the 2019 Asian Championship qualifying tournament. Our footballers will play in Group D. Their rivals will be the teams of South Korea, Chinese Taipei and Bangladesh. Qualifying tournament in our group will be held on October 24-28 in Dushanbe.

In the second round of the 2019 Asian Championship qualifying tournament to be held on April 22-30, 8 teams from the first qualifying round — the winners of six groups and the two best teams, which took second places with the best results, will advance to the next round.
