Another Victory for Tajikistan’s Football Team in the Doha Four Nations Tournament
DUSHANBE, 21.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Olympic team of Tajikistan (U-23) beat Qatar with a score of 1:0 in the second round of the Doha Four Nations Tournament on Friday.
Sharafjon Solehov scored the only and winning goal for Tajikistan in the 37th minute of the match. It is the second victory for the Tajik team in this tournament, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
In another match, Iran defeated Kuwait with a score of 5:0.
In the first round, Tajikistan beat Iran with a score of 2:1, and Qatar defeated Kuwait with a score of 3:1.
The matches of the final round will be held today, January 21. Tajikistan will play against Kuwait at 17:30 local time (19:30 Dushanbe time). Qatar will play against Iran.
All tournament matches will be held at the Doha Aspire Academy.
