Khujand FC Reached the Group Stage of the AFC Cup 2019
DUSHANBE, 14.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Vice-champion of Tajikistan Khujand FC received tickets to the group stage of the AFC Cup 2019 in the central zone, reported the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
Khujand FC tied against Turkmenistan’s Ahal in the return play-off match of the AFC Cup 2019. This match took place at The 20th Anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan stadium in Khujand and ended with a score of 0:0.
Following the results of the two matches, Khujand FC advanced to the next stage.
The first match, which took place a week earlier in Ashgabat, ended in a draw (1:1).
Khujand FC will continue on to the group stage of the AFC Cup 2019 in Group D together with Istiqlol FC (Tajikistan), Altyn Asyr FC (Turkmenistan) and Dordoy FC (Kyrgyzstan).
