Tajikistan and Sri Lanka to Develop Cooperation in Tourism and Agricultural Sector
DUSHANBE, 15.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Jurazoda Tojiddin met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Tajikistan Nurdin Muhammad Shahid yesterday in Dushanbe.
Jurazoda congratulated Ambassador Shahid on his appointment to this responsible post and expressed hope for furthering the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries, reported the Tajik Economic Development Ministry.
The parties discussed economic cooperation between the two countries, the development of the fields of industry, tourism and agriculture, including the cotton industry as well as other equally important issues.
Following the meeting, they expressed their readiness to develop further cooperation.
